UPDATE: High-Speed Pursuit Ends at Apple Valley Gas Station with Three Suspects Detained at Gunpoint
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A dangerous high-speed pursuit that began in San Bernardino County on Sunday night came to a dramatic end at a gas station in Apple Valley, where three suspects were detained at gunpoint by California Highway Patrol officers.
The pursuit reportedly began near the 215 Freeway before transitioning onto the northbound I-15 Freeway.
Speeds reached up to 125 miles per hour as the suspect vehicle barreled through the Cajon Pass and continued into the Victor Valley.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., the chase concluded at the AV Gas Mart located near Dale Evans Parkway and Waalew Road.

CHP officers, along with units from the San Bernardino Police Department, and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies, conducted a felony traffic stop, ordering all three occupants out of the vehicle, a silver 2020 Kia Sportage S, at gunpoint.
Each individual complied with commands and was taken into custody without incident.
The motive for the pursuit and the identities of those involved have not been released.
