Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle and Airlifted After Collision on Bear Valley Road in Hesperia
HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A pedestrian was critically injured and airlifted to a trauma center following a vehicle versus pedestrian collision on Bear Valley Road Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:48 p.m. on January 13, 2026, near the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Eleventh Ave on the Hesperia side.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and confirmed that the pedestrian sustained critical injuries.
A helicopter was requested and landed at Desert Valley Hospital, where the patient was transferred before being airlifted to an out-of-area trauma center for further treatment.
Multiple vehicles remained at the scene, although it was not immediately clear which vehicle, if any, was involved in the collision.
A witness at the location stated the pedestrian was possibly a male; however, that information has not been officially confirmed.
