17-Year-Old Arrested for Attempted Murder of Two Apple Valley Teens in December Shooting
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 17-year-old male was arrested and booked for attempted murder in connection to a December 2025 shooting that left two teens hospitalized.
The shooting occurred on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at about 1:03 p.m., when deputies from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to AMPM on Bear Valley Road for a report of two gunshot victims.
Authorities determined the incident had taken place in a dirt field in the 21000 block of Laguna Road.
The victims, a 19-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, both residents of Apple Valley, were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive.
According to the update released on January 14, 2026, following an “extensive investigation,” the 17-year-old male suspect was identified as the shooter and was arrested without incident. He was booked into High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for attempted murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
