Young man shot and killed in Victorville ID’d as Levi Blood, 23

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Sheriff’s officials identified the young man shot and killed Thursday night as Levi Blood, 23, of Victorville.

On Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 10:19 p.m. deputies responded to a 911 call of a shooting in the area of Mesa Oro Drive and Conejo Street.

Deputies and medical aid responded and found the male victim down in the street with an apparent gunshot wound. The man, later identified as Levi Blood was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives responded to conduct the investigation. Detectives learned that Levi Blood, was outside of his vehicle speaking with a couple of unidentified men when a witness heard gunshots and then found the victim unresponsive in the street.
