Young girl hit by car in Victorville Wal-Mart parking lot; driver flees

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Police are searching for a vehicle that struck a young-girl in a busy Wal-Mart parking lot and fled Sunday afternoon.

Just after 2:00 p.m., deputies responded to Victorville Wal-Mart (west) at 12234 Palmdale Road reference a vehicle versus a pedestrian.

When deputies arrived, they located a small girl about five years of age that had been hit by a vehicle.

According to witnesses, a white newer model Toyota Corolla with ‘Riverside Car Sales’ paper plates left the scene after hitting a little girl. Per scanner reports, witnesses obtained photos of the suspect vehicle driven by a Hispanic male adult.

Paramedics and fire personnel treated the child at the scene for minor injuries and was not transported for further treatment.
