
Yeast Free Cinnamon Rolls
What you will need:
- 2 cups Self Raising Flour
- Pinch of salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 100 grams butter
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- Glaze
- 1 cup of icing sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons water
What to do:
- Preheat oven to moderate and grease and line a baking tray
- Sift together the SR flour and salt
- Rub in half the butter and gradually add the milk. Knead the mixture until a soft dough forms
- Roll the dough into a 3-4cm thick rectangle
- Cream together the remaining butter, cinnamon and sugar
- Spread this mixture over the dough
- Roll the dough into a cyclinder and cut into 3cm thick slices
- Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown
- Whisk together the icing sugar and water and drizzle across the buns.
