A witness on the scene within minutes of the accident who wishes to remain nameless said, “I went to the tan minivan first because it looked a lot worse than the jeep. I looked at the lady in the van and I knew she was gone.” According to this witness, the van windows were all busted out and he feared there were more victims, possibly ejected from the vehicle so he asked witness’ for assistance looking for any other victims.
“I went over to the jeep and helped open the door to get her out. This lady definitely had the smell of alcohol on her breath. The thing that got me upset was that the driver of the jeep kept repeating ” I’m in so much trouble” , not once did I hear her ask how the other driver was.” said the witness.
He also claims that the driver was barefoot and several times tried to start her car to move it. He tried to remove the keys from the vehicle to stop her but they were stuck in the ignition. He was able to convince her to get out of the vehicle and sit down by handing her, her cell phone which she was also at the time requesting, “The driver had some blood on her but there were no obvious injuries” said the witness.
