Woman Struck By Own Stolen Vehicle After Fight Breaks Out In Old Town Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman was struck by her own vehicle after it was stolen during a large motorcycle gathering in Old Town Victorville early Saturday morning.
The incident occurred at about 2:32 a.m. on July 25, 2026, near Seventh Street and B Street.
According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jenny Smith, deputies responded to the area after receiving a report of a vehicle theft.
During their investigation, deputies learned the adult female victim was attending a motorcycle-related gathering where approximately 60 people had assembled.
Smith said a fight broke out among members of the crowd during the gathering. As the disturbance unfolded, the victim attempted to assist a family member who was at the location and exited her vehicle, leaving the engine running.
According to Smith, an unknown suspect got into the victim’s vehicle and attempted to flee the area. As the suspect reversed the vehicle, the victim was struck by her own vehicle.
Smith said the victim and her family member left the location out of fear for their safety before reporting the incident to law enforcement.
According to Smith, deputies conducted an area check and later located the stolen vehicle near Sixth Street and B Street. The suspect was not located.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to Smith, and no additional information about the suspect has been released.
