Woman Robbed for her Purse at Gunpoint in Winco Parking Lot

APPLE VALLEY-(VVNG.com): Just before 4:00 P.M., on Saturday, July 18th dispatch received a call reporting an armed robbery in the Winco parking lot located at 19047 Bear Valley Rd in Apple Valley.
Per scanner traffic, the call came from a woman alleging that her purse was stolen by an Hispanic Male Adult carrying a silver handgun. She said that after taking her purse he got into a silver Mercedes Coupe with no plates heading westbound out of the parking lot.
According to the victim, the driver was an Asian Male Adult in his 20’s and wearing a white shirt. The gunman, was described as about 5’6 in height, in his 20’s, he was last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
San Bernardino County Deputies from the Apple Valley Station are currently looking for the suspects with a Sheriff’s helicopter enroute to assist. The story is still developing, information will be updated as it is received.
