APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Las Vegas woman is now offering a $2,000 reward for the return of her dog.

Jennifer Kathreen’s beloved chihuahua named “Willow Rose” went missing on February 18, 2020, in the area of Apple Valley and Kamana Roads in the Town of Apple Valley.

Jennifer’s mom lives in the City of Victorville and was watching both her dogs, which are birth sisters.

Her mom had a doctor’s appointment in Apple Valley and decided to take the girls with her. Almost immediately after parking, Willow jumped out of the vehicle and went chasing after a squirrel that was in another parking lot across the way.

“Once she was out of the car, she allegedly bolted from everyone because they were chasing her, and she was terrified, especially not being anywhere close to home,” stated Jennifer.

Willow is a 1-year-old short-haired female Chihuahua with white/black/tan fur and takes medication.

On February 22nd there was a sighting of Willow in the area of Kamana and Kasota Road. A man called Jennifer and said a couple was trying to catch her but weren’t sure what happened with her since they were driving by and unable to stop.

Jennifer said she’s already spent thousands in flyers and also by sending direct mail to everyone in the area.

A lost pet detective hired to help search for Willow is expected to arrive in Apple Valley on Sunday. Landa Coldiron is a two-time award-winning bloodhound handler who specializes in educating people about lost cat and dog behavior.

“I’m just praying that someone does the right thing, or wants the reward money and gives her back,” stated Jennifer.

Anyone with information about Willow or her whereabouts is asked to call (310) 956-8787 or (801) 309-6079.
