Woman Killed in High Speed Chase Identified

APPLE VALLEY– (VVNG.com): At approximately 12:34 PM on December 30th, 2014 an Apple Valley deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a 2003 silver Kawasaki motorcycle near Pocomoke Road and Minnetonka Road. When the deputy attempted the stop the motorcyclist accelerated.

The failure to yield resulted in a pursuit reaching speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour prior to the motorcyclist losing control and crashing into the desert area of Bear Valley and Joshua Road. The deputy stopped to assess the situation and to render aid to the motorcyclist, Dathan Fisher and his female passenger, Natascha Bischof.

Upon, arrival of medics the condition of the patients was determined to be of life-threatening nature requiring the male victim to be airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital, due to the weather conditions and female victim to be transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital. The female succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.

Apple Valley resident, Natascha Bischof, 33 leaves behind three young children, family and many friends. The condition of Fisher is unknown at this time.
