Woman killed in Adelanto crash ID’d as 55-year-old woman from Phoenix

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the woman killed in an Adelanto crash as Susan Nsubuga, 55, of Phoenix Arizona.

The crash between two vehicles was reported at 3:19 pm, on Friday, June 22, 2018, in an unpaved area of Daisy and Lupin Roads in Adelanto.

When officers arrived on scene they located a white Toyota Corolla on its roof with major damage to the driver side and a Suzuki Sidekick with major front-end damage.

According to the coroner’s log, Susan was the right front-seat passenger of the Corolla that was traveling southbound along Daisy Road when it collided with the SUV traveling westbound along Lupin Road.

Susan sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other’s were critically injured in the crash and were airlifted to out of area trauma centers. Officials have not released information on either of their condition.

The California Highway Patrol has not released the official cause but speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
