VICTORVILLE: (VVNG.com)- A local woman was transported by ground ambulance to an area hospital after being involved in a two vehicle traffic collision on Tuesday.
According to officials, at approximately 11:25 a.m., a gold Ford Focus was traveling northbound on Seventh street just past Desert Knolls Drive, when the silver Chevy Cobalt traveling southbound made a left hand turn into the shopping center.
The Chevy Cobalt was said to have been hit by the Ford Focus, that was subsequently left on it’s side on the sidewalk leaving the female driver trapped inside.
Firefighters were able to cut the top of the vehicle to free the woman who complained of pain which led them to take her to a local hospital for a thorough exam.
