Woman dies after being struck by 2 vehicles in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by two vehicles while crossing D Street, according to Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.

The pedestrian was walking across the 16800 block of D Street at the intersection of 6th Street at about 1:19 a.m., in front of the Greyhound bus station Wednesday when she was hit by a sedan that was traveling westbound on D Street.

The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was then struck again by a silver Dodge Ram also traveling westbound.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

Both drivers remained on scene and cooperated with officials. No citations were issued as a result of the crash.

As of 8:30 a.m., D Street remains closed between Fourth Street and 7th Street while the Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) process the scene.
