Woman assaulted, stabbed, and robbed while walking in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 26-year-old woman from Redlands was assaulted and stabbed by several subjects as she walked to a friends house, officials said.

It happened on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at about 4:04 am, in the area of Rock Springs and Deep Creek Roads in Apple Valley.

Deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to take the report and to speak with the victim.

“According to the victim, she was walking to a friend’s house when she was approached by several subjects. The victim said she was punched in the face and stabbed in the rib cage with an unknown object. She believes she passed out and when she awoke, the suspects had stolen an undisclosed amount of money from her and her necklace,” stated a sheriff’s news release.

The victim was unable to provide any further details and was transported to a local hospital. The investigation is continuing.
