Woman Airlifted to Trauma Center After T-Bone Collision in Apple Valley
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman was airlifted to a trauma center following a t-bone traffic collusion Wednesday morning in the Town of Apple Valley.
It happened at about 10:19 am, on January 22, 2025, at the intersection of Kamana and Siskiyou Roads.
Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the incident and upon arrival reported one occupant was trapped.
Firefighters used extrication tools to remove the driver of a silver 2020 Honda CR-V and requested a medical helicopter.
After extricating was complete, the critically injured woman was transported by ambulance to the landing pad of St. Marys’s Medical Center and transported by a Mercy Air helicopter to an out of area trauma center.
The driver of a white 2018 Ford F-250 Super Duty was not injured in the collision.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department.
