Woman airlifted from accident on Highway 395 and Luna Road in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman was airlifted to a trauma center after being t-boned at a busy intersection Tuesday morning.
It happened at 8:44 am at the intersection of US Highway 395 and Luna Road in Victorville and involved a white Ford pick-up truck and a blue Mitsubishi Lancer.
Victorville City Fire arrived on scene and confirmed one person was trapped and required extrication.
Firefighters requested a medical helicopter to land on US-395, just north of the incident.
Highway 395 was briefly shut down between Dos Palmas and Bear Valley Road in order for Mercy Air 2 to land. The patient was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
