VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman was flown to a trauma center after allegedly running a red light and causing a multi-vehicle crash Friday morning.
It happened at about 11:00 am on June 21, 2019, at the intersection of Amargosa Road and Mojave Drive in Victorville.
Victorville City Fire responded to the accident and located three vehicles, a white Honda Accord, a white Nissan Frontier, and a gold Chevy minivan blocking the roadway.
The driver of the pickup truck told VVNG he was at a red light and waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Mojave Drive.
According to the driver of the Nissan truck, the Honda was traveling southbound on Amargosa Road when a minivan going east on Mojave Drive slammed into the passenger side of the Honda.
Firefighters transported the mother and her two small children to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the van was taken by ground ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and subsequently airlifted to an out of area trauma center with unknown injuries.
Two male occupants in the pick-up truck were not injured.
