VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are investigating after a 21-year-old woman was allegedly carjacked at gunpoint by two men at a Victorville park Wednesday night.
It happened at about 10:23 pm on July 17, 2019, at Doris Davies Park in the 16300 block of Pebble Beach Drive in Victorville.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the female victim reported she was in her vehicle at the park, waiting for a friend, when two unknown males approached her.
Rodriguez said one of the suspects pointed a gun at her and told her to get out of the car. After exiting the vehicle, both suspects got into the victim’s car and drove away.
“When her friend arrived, she was able to track her phone, which was left in her car. Deputies located her car, via the phone tracking, near Rodeo Drive and Pebble Beach Drive,” stated Rodriguez.
The suspects were no longer with the vehicle and were not located. The vehicle was released back to the victim at the scene.
The suspects are described as two black males, one was wearing a white shirt with red long sleeves and jeans. The other was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
