Winco Evacuated Due to a Bomb Threat

[googlemap src=”” align=”alignright” ]VICTORVILLE: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Police Department responded to a bomb threat at a Winco Foods grocery store Sunday afternoon.
Winco located at 14973 Amargosa road in Victorville, was evacuated so that police could search the store for a possible bomb.
According to customers who were shopping in the store at about 4:45 p.m., they were asked to evacuate the building immediately over the stores intercom system.
A perimeter of 500 feet was established surrounding the property and all entrances to the shopping center were blocked off.
The bomb squad cleared the store after no bombs were found. The bomb threat call made turned out to be a false alarm and the store is expected to re-open by 6 p.m.
