For the past 4 years, the Victorville dealership has been giving away a prize just by guessing the final score to the Super Bowl. This year is no different. The Big Game on Sunday draws about 100 million people viewers on television and digital media.
“Super Bowl LIII is a big deal and everyone has their opinion as to who is going to win and what the score will be. In fact, the estimated amount of money gambled on the game will be around 6 billion dollars; so people think they know something,” chuckled Creative Director from Valley Hi Toyota, Brian Ortega.
This year’s prize is a $200 gift card to Target. “It’s a practical gift where you can spend it on yourself spend it on others,” said GM Todd Stokes. “I personally am pulling for the home team, the LA Rams to win, and I think they have what it takes.”
Instead of counting the numerous guesses in the comments section of a Facebook post after the game, Ortega created a chatbot on Facebook Messenger who will do the heavy lifting. “It takes a long time to rummage through the thousands of comments.” The bot will be turned off a 12 pm on Sunday. One guess per person.
To engage the Messenger bot for the contest you must type, “YES” in the video post on the Valley Hi Toyota Facebook page where Ortega is talking about the Super Bowl. The bot will ask you who will win and what the score will be. “I encourage you to confirm you Like the page and turn on notifications for future contests, like the next Used Car Giveaway,” said Ortega. “Also, join the Valley Hi Toyota Friends group page for exclusive content and contests.”
