Weekend warmup on the way for the Victor Valley

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A weekend warmup is on the way for the Victor Valley.
According to the National Weather Service San Diego office, temperatures will begin to warm up this weekend as an area of high pressure moves into the region.
“Expect mostly sunny skies with some June gloom clouds at the coast for the early part of the weekend,” stated the agency.
Temperatures in Victorville are predicted to reach 87 degrees on Friday, 89 on Saturday and 95 on Sunday, according to the NWS.
Everyone should take these steps to prevent heat-related illnesses, injuries, and deaths during hot weather:

- Drink plenty of fluids even if you don’t feel thirsty.
