Weekend storm will bring rain and snow to mountain communities

VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A weekend storm is expected to bring rain to the Victor Valley and snow to our local mountains.
According to the US National Weather Service, “snow levels could drop to 5,000 to 5,500 ft, and several inches of snow are possible in the San Bernardino County mountains.”
The NWS said they are predicting 3-5 inches of snow to fall in the community of Wrightwood.
Temperatures in the City of Victorville will continue to remain cold into the weekend with a high of 53 degrees and a low of 35 on Saturday night. And a similar forecast is predicted for Sunday.
Winds from the south could bring gusts as high as 30 mph. There is a small risk of flash floods and debris flows in recently burned areas.
