VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A beautiful show of solidarity and remembrance line the area near the Victor Valley College “United We Stand” monument, which was placed near the campus library in 2006. The Victor Valley College monument is located on the East end of the upper campus.
These preparations are not only to remember the tragedies that took place taking the lives of 2,996 people mostly all, within just hours, but also for a 6:30 a.m. ceremony that will be held near the monument. Victor Valley College has hosted these memorials yearly on September 11th, also known as Patriot Day.
The public is encouraged to attend to honor the lives of those lost in the September 11, 2001 attacks. For many in the United States this was not only a day that showed our country was not only vulnerable to such attacks, but in this it also showed our country is strong, united and would not back down due to them.
