VVC announces new Composite Technician Certificate Program

Only 20 spots are available for the first Victor Valley College co-hort beginning in Fall 2018.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. — We’re excited for this week’s VVC Composite Technician Certificate program OPEN HOUSE! Talk about being responsive to the industry!

Environmental concerns and the increase in airline traffic and fuel, has increased the demand for composite material use in the aerospace industry. In keeping up with this demand, Victor Valley College is excited to share with the High Desert Community the start-up of a new Composite Technician Certificate program.

If you want a great job in a high-demand field, please consider attending the Open House & Recruitment event for VVC’s new Composite Technician Certificate program. We regularly hear from industry that they need skilled individuals who can work with composites. If you are interested, Please Attend.

The Open House will be held Thursday, May 10th at the Southern California Logistical Airport in Victorville, Room 372, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., to share additional information on the program, meet Industry Representatives, and sign-up for the program.

The certificate is a 1-year program which leads to living wage jobs in the High Desert with companies such as General Atomics, Nordam, and ComAv.
