VICTORVILLE, Calif. – Victor Valley College (VVC) proudly announces the highly anticipated 2024-2025 performance season at the VVC Performing Arts Center, showcasing a diverse lineup of theater productions, concerts, and special events.
This season promises something for everyone, from classic plays to modern musical performances. The PAC is inviting the community to experience the magic of live theater and music right in the heart of the Victor Valley.
The new season kicks off with a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month as well as a spectacular evening of comedy and magic, a VVC staple that has been gracing the stage with world-class magicians from the Magic Castle for nearly 30 years at VVC. An Evening of Comedy and Magic is an extraordinary show that has wowed audiences from Las Vegas to Dubai and beyond.
But wait, there’s more! VVC is excited to present a wide range of performances that highlight the exceptional talent of VVC students, faculty, and visiting artists. Audiences can look forward to standout shows such as Holes, a story about being born into a family cursed with bad luck, and The Prom, a live musical that follows the lives of four Broadway actors lamenting their days of fame as they travel to the conservative town of Edgewater, Indiana.
In addition to theatrical productions, the season includes a robust schedule of musical performances by VVC’s College Singers, Symphony Orchestra, and Concert Band, as well as special events that celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our community. Additionally, the music department’s annual holiday celebrations will kick off December 12, 2024.
“We are thrilled to offer an exciting lineup of performances this season that showcases the exceptional talent of our students and guest artists,” said Kelley Cahow, Dean of Instruction for Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) at Victor Valley College, “Our goal is to provide an enriching experience for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned theatergoer or new to live performances. We invite you to join us for a season full of entertainment, inspiration, and creativity.”
