Video Shows Road Rage Assault On Hesperia Road in Victorville; Two Women Arrested
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Two women were arrested following a road rage incident that left a man injured Wednesday evening in front of Victory Apostolic Church in Old Town Victorville.
The incident occurred on June 24, 2026, at about 6:00 p.m., on Hesperia Road and Forrest Avenue.
Deputies responded to the area after receiving a report of an assault.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted the victim, an adult male, who said he had been involved in a road rage incident with the suspects, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jenny Smith.
The investigation revealed the victim was driving on Hesperia Road near Forrest Avenue when the suspects, later identified as 25-year-old Tzitlaly Cruz and 27-year-old Victoria Mitchell, positioned their vehicle in front of his vehicle, forcing him to stop.
Both women exited their vehicle and attacked the victim, Smith said. During the assault, Cruz entered the victim’s vehicle, retrieved a metal container, and struck him with it. Cruz then reentered the victim’s vehicle and took the victim’s car keys. Mitchell allegedly punched the victim in the face.
After the altercation, Cruz and Mitchell returned to their vehicle and fled the area with the victim’s keys.
Following an investigation, deputies located the suspects’ vehicle and took both women into custody.
Mitchell was arrested on suspicion of robbery under California Penal Code 211. Cruz was arrested on suspicion of robbery under California Penal Code 211 and battery causing serious bodily injury under California Penal Code 243(d).
According to jail booking records, both Mitchell and Cruz have since been released from custody.
