VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man hanging out of a window from a moving car on the I-15 freeway was caught in the act by a California Highway Patrol Officer.

It happened Saturday evening, August 10, 2019 at about 7:30 pm on the northbound I-15 freeway.

Cesar Toby Gabaldon was in a nearby car when he witnessed the bizarre incident.

Gabaldon pulled out his cellphone and started recording near the Highway 395 off-ramp in Hesperia.

In his video, a gray four-door sedan that’s occupied by two people can be seen traveling in the fast lane. The passenger begins to sit on the window and is partially hanging out of the moving of the vehicle as it traveled freeway speeds.

Cesar continued recording for nearly a minute as he watched in disbelief.

During the video, the unidentified male continues dangling out the window as he appeared to try and touch the roadway with his hand.

As the vehicle approached the La Mesa/Nisqualli exit, a California Highway Patrol officer was parked along the shoulder and witnessed the male hanging from the window.

In the video Cesar could be heard asking, “is that a cop right there? Yep, that’s a cop,” as he chuckled. Seconds later the officer is seen pulling over the vehicle. “Karma they got him,” stated Cesar.

A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. Information on the citation or occupants were not available at the time of this article.

Cesar posted the video to the Victor Valley News Group on Facebook where members voiced their opinions.

Kathy Young commented and said she sure hopes they will learn their lesson. “I’m sure his family would he devastated if something bad happened to him. Kids just don’t think about what could happen to them while they think they’re being cool.”

While other members did their best to enlighten the situation.

“That will teach him not to be hanging out of the window on the passenger side of his best friends ride,” stated Bernice Nunez.
