VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Victorville’s ‘Restaurant Row’ continues to grow and is about to get much hotter with some new additions to the already popular restaurant list.
Construction on the 5-acre development in the 11600 block of Amargosa Road or most commonly known as ‘Restaurant Row’ is moving along quickly as the new buildings start to take shape on the landscape.
The City of Victorville will soon be the home to a few new eateries that will call the area home for the first time ever and in one case all of California!
The new establishments slated to open include; Which Wich Sandwiches, Cafe Rio, Nekter Juice Bar, Habit Burger, Pielogy, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Starbucks, and of course none other than Cracker Barrel.
Cracker Barrel recently announced they expect to open California’s first ever location in Victorville sometime in February of 2018. The other establishments currently under construction have not announced a targeted opening date.
Restaurant Row is without argument the most popular dining destination in the Victor Valley. With options like Applebee’s, Chili’s, Freddy’s, Sonic’s Drive-in, Pancho Villa’s, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Panera Bread, Johnny Carino’s, Roadhouse Grill, and Mimi’s Cafe.
With nearly 100,000 motorists traveling daily along the I-15 corridor, Restaurant Row offers prime visibility and a convenient location for anyone to grab a bite to eat.
The excitement continues to build for many local residents who eagerly awaiting Cracker Barrel’s grand opening. Out of the entire state, the company chose Victorville to build the first ever California location. Leaving many residents with hope that a TGIF Restaurant will soon make its way to the Victor Valley.
Get to know the eateries
Which Wich – Is a sandwich shop with a unique ordering process. Customers grab a brown paper sack and check off the items you want. When your order is up, an employee will call your name and hand you over your custom-made sandwich.
Cafe Rio – Is a Mexican Grill that offers authentic dishes and made from scratch menu options. The company’s slogan is “fresh food, made fresh”. Nothing is pre-made and their locations don’t use any microwaves or freezers.
Nekter Juice Bar – Offers products designed to promote healthy living and are natural, raw, and vegan in form. According to the company, each Nekter Juice contains 3 lbs. of fresh fruits and veggies that are naturally anti-inflammatory and are packed with vitamins & nutrients.
The Habit Burger & Grill – Is an American fast casual restaurant chain focused on hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, shakes and french fries.
Pieology – Is a pizzeria that offers house made crusts, signature sauces and dozens of fresh toppings. After choosing your favorite combinations your pizza is oven roasted and ready in about 5 minutes.
Ono Hawaiian BBQ – Specializes in Hawaiian inspired foods and offer the “Plate Lunch” which consists of two scoops of rice, one scoop of mac and salad and your choice of entree over a bed of steamed cabbage.
Starbucks – Nough’ said.
Cracker Barrel – Is a southern country themed eatery with walls covered in antiques. The company chose Victorville to build they’re first ever California location. The company currently has 645 locations in 44 states and serves 217 million guests every year, according to their website. Once Victorville opens the company will proudly operate in 45 states.
