Victorville Woman Bewildered by Mysterious Lawn Ornaments

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A Victorville resident living on the 12300 block of Rustic Oak Trail woke up recently to a yard covered in lawn ornaments. This latest incident marks the third time a similar occurrence has happened to this resident.

Robyn Yearout started with just two law ornaments of her own lawn. The unexplained collection has now grown to over 50!

Of course, some consider this just a comical prank, but the homeowner realizes that these were likely collected from yards without the permission of their rightful  owners.

“It was (funny) the first time. This is the third, I really just feel bad for those who are missing their stuff,” said Yearout. She said that over the past few weeks these have appeared in her front yard.

After posting on Victor Valley News Facebook group, numerous other news outlets picked up the story in hopes of finding the owners or a reasonable explanation to these appearances. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s department one local resident already identified one of the ornaments and it is now back home in their yard.

Anyone who identifies a missing yard ornament in the pictures are asked to come to the Victorville City Sheriff’s Station to identify and take possession of their missing yard ornament.

Anyone with information regarding these missing lawn ornaments is asked to contact the Victorville City Sheriff’s Station, Detective Gardner at (760) 241-2911.
