VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) —A 31-year-old Victorville woman was arrested Friday night after a series of crashes and a short pursuit ended in her arrest on multiple charges, including DUI and felony evading, officials said.
The incident began around 10:34 p.m. on November 7, 2025, when deputies responded to the area of Hesperia Road and Bear Valley Road for reports of a hit-and-run collision involving multiple vehicles.
According to Gloria Huerta, spokeswoman for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the driver of a black Dodge Challenger, later identified as Krystina Garza, fled the scene before deputies arrived.
Deputies located the vehicle heading south on Hesperia Road. As they attempted a traffic stop, Garza allegedly crashed into the rear of a vehicle stopped at a red light, reversed and struck the same vehicle a second time. Deputies said Garza struck the vehicle a third time before turning west onto Bear Valley Road.
The pursuit continued for approximately a quarter of a mile and ended near the 16200 block of Villa Drive, where Garza stopped in a parking lot and was taken into custody without further incident.
Garza was booked at the High Desert Detention Center on multiple charges, including:
- VC 2800.2(A) – Felony evading a peace officer with disregard for public safety
- VC 23152(A) – DUI alcohol
- VC 23152(B) – DUI with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or more
