VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A woman called 911 to report her teen son and two other males that were attempting to break into her home, officials said.
It happened on July 24, 2019, at about 10:20 pm deputies responded to suspicious circumstances at a home in the 15000 block of Salamander Lane in Victorville.
“The female victim, a 73-year old female, reported her 17-year old son and two other males were trying to break into her house and she was afraid,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
Rodriguez said that as deputies were responding two of the suspects went to the back of the house, used a firearm to shoot the glass out of the back door, and entered the house while the third male waited in front.
“The victim locked herself in a room while the suspects were inside. The suspects caused damage inside the home and took several items, including marijuana plants. As they exited, some of the items were handed to the third suspect. Before the suspects could leave the location, deputies arrived and took all three into custody,” stated Rodriguez.
The 17-year-old suspect was arrested and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for assault with a firearm, first-degree robbery, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
Semmian Tyzhun Lewis Blanton-Stokes, 19, a resident of Victorville, and 23-year old Upland resident Trevail Gray, were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for robbery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit a crime.
