Victorville Residents Reporting Widespread Power Outage

UPDATE @ 11:15 AM – Majority of residents impacted by the outage started reporting the power had been restored at about 11:10 AM.

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- At about 10:38 AM., on Monday, February 22nd Victor Valley News members started reporting a power outage in a wide-spread area of Victorville.

Southern California Edison Spokesman, Paul Netter told Victor Valley News that the outage affected 5141 customers, but by 11:04 a.m. only two homes were without power. As of 12:35 p.m.. the cause of the outage is unknown.

The outage affected customers from a north boundary of Melba Court, a south boundary of Palmdale Road, an east boundary of Moore Street and a west boundary of Vincent Drive.

Several signal lights on the west side of the 15 freeway are not operating. Per scanner traffic, Victorville City roads have been advised to assist with traffic control.
