Victorville residents eligible for 10 free sandbags

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — With the upcoming winter storm, the City of Victorville is reminding its residents they are eligible to receive 10 sandbags at no cost.
Sandbags can help provide barriers that prevent flooding to your front door and sliding doors.
Residents may pick up sand and sandbags from one of the following Fire Stations:
- Fire Station 311 is located at 16200 Desert Knoll Drive, 92395
- Fire Station 312 is located at 15182 El Evado Road, 92394
- Fire Station 313 is located at 13086 Amethyst Road, 92392
- Fire Station 314 is located at 17008 Silica Road, 92395
Additionally, unfilled sandbags are available at the Victorville City maintenance yard located at 14177 McArt Road.
Proof of Victorville residency is required and up to 10 sandbags will be given to each resident while supplies last.
