Victorville Resident Stabbed When he Answered His Front Door

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): The male occupant of a Victorville home was injured following a Sunday afternoon stabbing on the 15400 block of Manchester Street. According to scanner traffic, the suspect, described as a black male in his 20’s pounded on the front door at about 2:15 p.m. The male victim, whose age is undisclosed, opened the door and the suspect stabbed him then fled on foot toward Venice Lane. The victim’s mother called to report the stabbing saying that the suspect was not known to them.
The suspect, at the time of the stabbing was wearing a blue sweatshirt and black pants. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. As of Sunday evening the suspect was still at large. Information will be updated as it is received.
