Victorville Resident Arrested for Attempted Murder of her 88-Year-old Mother

According to a news release, “On Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at about 4:00 p.m., a neighbor was visiting Heidi London’s 88 year old mother at her residence when London, a 47-year-old resident of Victorville, suddenly attacked the neighbor, choking her and forcing her out of the residence. The neighbor called 911 and waited outside for deputies to arrive. A deputy from the Victorville Station responded and discovered London was gone from the area.

The deputy searched the residence and discovered London’s mother inside, unresponsive and laying on the floor. She had been assaulted and was suffering from severe trauma to her face and upper body. Due to the severity of her injuries, London’s mother was flown via air ambulance to the Loma Linda University Medical Center where she is currently listed in critical condition.

On August 28, 2013, at about 3:30 p.m., a deputy from the Victor Valley Station located and detained London on Spring Valley Lake Parkway. Detectives from theVictorville Station responded and took London into custody. London was booked into the Victor Valley Jail for attempted murder.
