Victorville power outage affecting over 1,800 SCE customers

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A wide-spread power outage is affecting many Southern California Edison customers in Victorville here Monday.
At about 2:48 pm, Jay Reece, a member of the Victor Valley News Group on Facebook reported the power had gone out at Costco.
Several other group members also reported having no power at the Victorville Courthouse, the DMV, businesses along 7th Street, as well as the area of Hesperia Road and Green Tree.
According to the SCE outage map, as of 2:47 pm, 1,827 customers were affected and crews were analyzing the problem to determine the cause of the outage.
The exact cause of the outage is currently unknown. This is a developing story and information will be updated as it becomes available.
