Victorville police searching for suspect who stole an EBT card number and used it

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Victorville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who fraudulently used an EBT card number.
It happened on February 2, 2019, at the El Super Market at 14950 Bear Valley Road in Victorville.
Police said an unknown male subject standing in the checkout line behind the victim and managed to obtain the CalFresh/
The suspect then used the information to make a large purchase on the victim’s account, officials said.
The suspect is described as a black male adult approximately 20-25 years old. On the day of the incident, he was wearing blue jeans, black and white shoes, and a black and blue hooded sweatshirt with a NASA logo.
The suspect is wanted for PC484g – Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Chris Crosswhite with the Victorville Police Department at (760)241-2911 and reference case # 171901501.
