Victorville police searching for suspect in Lomitas Elementary burglary

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are seeking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who broke into Lomitas Elementary School and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics.

It happened on January 20, 2019, in the 12500 block of First Avenue in Victorville. At about 1:06 pm, surveillance cameras on the campus captured a black male subject wearing a red shirt and black pants, exiting one of the classrooms.

Sheriff’s officials said the male suspect shattered windows on four classrooms to gain entry to each.

“The suspect took electronic devices and audio/video equipment, worth several thousand dollars,” stated a sheriff’s news release.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the ongoing investigation is asked to call Deputy Bennington or Deputy Foster at the Victorville Police Station (760)241-2911.
