Victorville Police investigating Tuesday afternoon shooting

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Victorville Police are investigating a shooting that resulted with at least one person shot, officials said.
On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at about 12:41 pm dispatch received calls reporting an unknown subject(s) shooting a firearm in the 14900 block of Culver Road.
Victorville sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told VVNG the invovled suspects had fled the scene before deputies arrived at 12:44 pm.
An extensive search for suspect(s) and victim(s) was conducted. “One person was located at a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound,” Rodriguez stated.
The investigation is on-going and no further information is available at this time. Anyone with information is asked to called the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
