VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Victorville Police Department issued multiple search warrants for various units at the Mountain Vista Apartment complex located on the 15400 block of Nisqualli Road in Victorville.
The warrants were issued when deputies had information that stolen property from recent burglaries may have been inside the apartment units.
On Friday night, a large presence of sheriff’s deputies along with a sheriff’s helicopter swarmed the location after multiple suspects were witnessed running into the complex following a nearby residential burglary.
“Deputies investigated a burglary investigation yesterday which led them to the location. They left the location to write search warrants. Multiple search warrants were served at the location this morning,” San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Sergeant Marc Bracco told Victor Valley News.
During the execution of the search warrants, five people were arrested, Sgt. Bracco confirmed.
A Victor Valley News camera captured police bringing out a safe and a shoe box. It’s unclear what other items were located during the investigation. The identity of the suspects has not been made available.
