VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities are searching for a suspect who escaped after leading police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle early Tuesday morning.
On December 17, 2019, at about 4:18 am a deputy attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle in the area of the Mall of Victor Valley.
The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and a short pursuit ensued, officials said.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller said the pursuit ended when the vehicle came to a stop following a traffic collision at Cataba Rd and Amargosa Rd.
“The driver of the vehicle fled on foot and deputies were unable to locate him. There is information in the call about an adult female but it doesn’t appear she was arrested,” stated Miller.
