Victorville OPoly rolls into Walmart shelves

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Victorville version of the famous board game Monopoly is creating quite the buzz in the Victor Valley.

Victorville OPoly is a fun game celebrating Victorville.

The Walmart Supercenter located at 11896 Amargosa Road in Victorville stocked its shelves of an end cap near the front entrance early Friday morning.

A photo of the display was shared on VVNG’s Facebook group and instantly the public kicked into gear, making this unique Victorville O Poly a must-have!

Walmart Store Manager Steve was busy ordering another pallet from the back as he watched the product flying off the shelves. Steve said this was a special order request made some time ago.

Curious customers walked by and stopped to check out the display. Nearly every person first laughed about the boardgame before grabbing one and even two or three to take home as gifts.

Steve said there was extra inventory in the warehouse but wasn’t sure how long that would last.

The boardgame highlights some of the prominent roadways around the city like Mojave Drive, Hesperia Road, Amethyst Road and popular landmarks like the Victor Valley College, Route 66 Museum, the Green Tree Golfcourse and yep even Downtown Victorville.
