VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): 22-year-old Rachel Fellows, was arrested on Wednesday, February 25th after an investigation that stemmed from a February 17th Victor Valley Global Medical Center emergency room visit.
Fellows 14-month-old daughter arrived at the hospital with a fractured left leg. Hospital staff suspected abuse and reported the injury as suspicious in nature.
The following day the toddler was transferred and admitted to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital with her fractured left leg.
Detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail, responded to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital and learned the victim was suffering from an additional healing fracture to her right leg.
Investigation determined that the mother of the child, Rachel Fellows caused the fracture to the victim’s right leg. The other fracture is still under investigation.
On Wednesday, February 25, 2015, detectives booked Fellows into Central Detention Center for PC 273a(a). Her bail is set at $100,000.00 and her arraignment date is set for February 27, 2015.
