VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Police are actively searching for an armed robbery suspect after he held up a local business Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the Mobil gas station in the 16000 block of Stoddard Wells Road just before 1:00 pm, reference a robbery at the location.
The suspect allegedly entered the business, with a handgun and stole the cash register containing an unknown amount of cash, scanner traffic reported.
The suspect is described as a Black Male Adult wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the words AEO, black sweat pants, and gray shoes.
He was last seen running through the Motel 6 and possibly towards the Mojave River.
A sheriff’s helicopter is overhead assisting ground deputies as they search the area for the suspect.
