VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A 25-year-old Victorville man pleaded not guilty to charges of indecent exposure, resisting arrest, trespassing and public disturbance on Wednesday, May 27th.
The man, identified as Kevin Lewis, appeared via video to an arraignment hearing at the Victorville superior court.
On Friday, May 22nd at approximately 12:30 P.M., Lewis allegedly approached a woman in the restroom inside the Cinemark movie theatre located at 14470 Bear Valley Road. As she attempted to exit the stall, according to the victim, he blocked her way out. The woman was able to push her way out and call 911. James fled into the wash near the theatre and following a brief pursuit was arrested near El Evado Road and Northstar Avenue.
The felony indecent exposure incident that he also put in a not guilty plea is unrelated and was from a March 6th incident. He is set to return to court for a pretrial hearing on June 4th. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $550,000 bail.
According to public court records, Lewis has a past conviction for disturbing the peace in October of 2012, disorderly conduct or soliciting a lewd act on January 2014 and indecent exposure on May 23, 2014.
