Victorville Man Arrested For Home Depot Parking Lot Murder

VICTORVILLE, Calif. ( Authorities arrested a 31-year-old Victorville man for the murder of Robert Curtis who was shot and Killed outside the Victorville Home Depot.

Robert Gary Curry was arrested on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, for the murder of 28-year-old Curtis who was gunned down on May 26, 2017.

“Investigators have determined that Robert Curtis met with an individual to purchase a large quantity of marijuana and a struggle ensued during the transaction. Robert Curry, who was nearby, approached Curtis and shot multiple times,” according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s press release.

Curry was taken into custody in the 12400 block of Ava Loma Street in Victorville after investigators obtained a $1,000,000 warrant for his arrest.

Curry was booked for murder at the High Desert Detention Center and is currently being held on $1 million dollars. He is scheduled to be arraigned in a Victorville courtroom on June 2, 2017.
