VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A 32-year-old Victorville man was arrested for multiple charges on Saturday, December 5th after deputies responded to the report of a robbery, criminal threats and assault with a deadly weapon. When deputies arrived on the 12000 block of Magnolia Avenue they determined that the victim was a previous tenant that returned to retrieve his property.
While at the home, the suspect, identified as Anthony Esparza entered the victim’s bedroom by kicking in the door and placed a handgun to the victim’s head. Sheriff’s officials said that Esparza threatened to harm the victim. He then took the victim’s laptop computers.
According to authorities, when deputies made contact with Esparza at his home, which was used as a daycare facility there were children present. Esparza was in possession of multiple weapons including a loaded firearm, collapsible baton, a switchblade, and composite knuckle gloves. Deputies took Esparza was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bail. Esparza was released on bail on Monday, December 7th at about 10:30 p.m. and has not court appearances scheduled at this time.
