VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Authorities announced the arrest of a 19-year-old Victorville man for contacting a female juvenile with intent to commit a sexual offense.
On Wednesday, February 10th at 9:28 A.M., a Victorville deputy responded to the report of an adult soliciting a minor for sex.
According to a press release, the victim’s mother reported that Abel Ruiz, had been communicating with her daughter through Facebook and text messages and had asked the victim to meet him in person. Ruiz had requested explicit photographs and talked about having sex with the victim.
Ruiz was contacted by deputies at his home and arrested for Contact with a Minor with Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense. He was booked at the High Desert Detention Center with bail set at $25,000.
