Victorville man arrested after hitting a homeless man over the head with a shovel

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 35-year-old Victorville man remains behind bars after he allegedly hit a homeless man over the head with a shovel.
It happened on September 24, 2019, at about 8:30 am at the Arco in the 15700 block of Roy Rogers Drive in Victorville.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez said the suspect, identified as Humberto Felix, struck the 31-year-old transient with a shovel.
According to Rodriguez, “Felix believed the victim was looking at his female family member inappropriately and became angry.”
Felix Humberto Dominguez was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is scheduled for preliminary arraignment on September 26th. He is charged PC245(A)(1) and his bail is set at $50,000.
Rodriguez said the victim refused medical attention.
